On Memorial Day Weekend, the Rotary Club of Simi Sunrise puts on a large music, food and crafts fair now known as the Simi Valley Cajun and Blues Festival. Two stages that are several hundred yards apart offer two distinctive styles of American roots music that just happen to be relatives, both born in the American South just a couple of hundred miles from one another.
