The host hotel of the Simi Valley Cajun & Blues Music Festival was also the site of the after party to end all after parties. Just as a point of clarification there were in fact two official after parties, both Saturday and Sunday nights, after the festival. The events were produced by Art Martel and his Straight up Blues Productions. BLUES JUNCTION Productions and Rip Cat Records sponsored these events.

The hotel's Arena Sports Grill & Bar appears to be a sports bar the rest of the year but on these two nights a huge blues party went from 8:30pm until last call at 1:30 in the morning The host bands were Southern California based ensembles Lil 'A’ & The Allnighters and The Mighty Mojo Prophets. That was just the beginning. Then some guests made their way to the stage. The different combinations of players and musical amalgamations were just too numerous to mention.
